A spacious bungalow located on Avielochan Farm, Outlook's prime position commands spectacular views of the superb Highland scenery which can be enjoyed right from the doorstep! Set in its own grounds it has a large garden for kicking around a ball, playing a game of quoits or enjoying barbecues and alfresco eating to make the most of warmer weather and long daylight hours.

 
Sitting room

This comfortably furnished room creates a relaxing area from which you can enjoy the peace, quiet and wonderful views over the loch to the Cairngorm Mountains. An easy to light wood-burning stove provides extra warmth and ambience with a good supply of wood available from the garden shed. Facilities include a colour TV (BBC1 & 2, ITV, Channel 4 & basic package Satellite) plus there is a DVD player.

 
Kitchen/Dining Area

The well equipped kitchen has ample storage space for full sets of crockery, cutlery, glassware and pans catering for up to 7 people. Appliances include fridge/freezer, electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
The dining area at the rear of the cottage overlooks the garden so forms a good viewpoint for the bird feeders which attract Siskins, Woodpeckers, Tits and occasionally Red Squirrel too. It has easy to clean vinyl flooring. To see the kitchen inventory click here.

 
Porch
At the rear of the house leading to the large garden, this area benefits from the evening sun. It is simply furnished and there is ample room for sports gear, wet weather clothing and the other necessities for a holiday in the Scottish Highlands.
 
Bathroom
Comprising a bath, washbasin, toilet and over the bath electric shower and an electric shaver point.
 
Bedroom 1

Located at the front of the house this room catches the morning sun and has views across the loch to the mountains.  It is furnished with a double pine bed, built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers.  

 
Bedroom 2
Located at the front of the house with views to the mountains this room has two single pine beds, a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. An additional fold-up bed can be accommodated and is available if required.
 
Bedroom 3

Looking out to the garden at the rear of the house, this room has two pine wood style single beds along with a chest of drawers and built in wardrobe. 

 
GENERAL
Hot water - constantly available via an electric heater
Heating - via electric storage and/or panel heaters unless otherwise stated

Electricity - charged by meter readings read on arrival and prior to departure (no coins needed). Payment is payable prior to departure. An estimate of the amount you are likely to use can be provided at the time of booking.
Firewood costs are included in the rental fee
Secondary glazing throughout
Large gravel car parking area
Access from 4pm on arrival day - guests are asked to vacate by 10am on departure day
